Granny’s Gun Collection is a controversial science project consisting of three strangers who, one day, found themselves drunk, and trapped in a dirty basement in downtown Utrecht after a night out in December 1967. Frightened as they were, they hung out in the dark for three days, living on rats and dust until the lights suddenly went on and a man entered the room. It was a tall man wearing dark glasses, introducing himself as William, saying that he was a scientist. He put the three strangers in a big machine and began torturing them for 33 years, until the city was shaking and quaking by their screams, the rattling of the wheels and the frenzy detuned sounds of their shackles. Mad genius William and his subordinate Alf then recorded the sounds on an old tape-recorder and unleashed the trio, by now gone crazy from pain. Together with a second ghost drummer, they haunt the streets and make funny noises.
